As a lighter version of the Roadster 4, the Spyder 4 uses carefully selected lightweight fabrics—Dominico 32 g on the top, Porcher Skytex 27 g on the bottom, and stronger materials in critical ribs—to reduce both sail weight and pack-volume without compromising durability.

New features include the addition of winglets to improve roll stability and spiral behavior, a refined reflex profile and leading-edge openings for better inflation and shorter take-off, and 3D panel shaping with mini-ribs that boost performance and top speed by about +3 km/h. The Spyder 4 also offers a higher arc for more precise and responsive turning.

The riser system is beginner-friendly and now improved: Roller-cam trimmers with sublimation-printed trim-marks provide smoother, more reliable trim operation over time. LinkLite connectors replace maillons to lighten the wing without sacrificing strength.

In flight, pilots will notice easier and more comfortable inflation, shorter take-offs, especially in calm wind, and reduced engine power demand thanks to increased efficiency.
