OpenPPG SP140 V2 ICE is the latest paramotor from OpenPPG. With its clean and simple design and operations, you’ll be flying more and on the ground adjusting/ tinkering less. We have worked hard on bringing an affordable PPG to market.

Easy transport/ storage – The frame breaks down to a very compact form factor for easy transport and storage.
Lightweight ergonomic geometry – With the simple frame design and no unnecessary complexity the SP140 frame is lightweight and shares the great ergonomic setup as its electric counterpart.
Affordable – With the SP140 V2 system, we can use the same frame for both our ICE and electric paramotors; allowing us to scale production and create an affordable overall package for both systems. Despite incorporating the highest quality components and a modern design, we can lower costs compared to competing brands’ paramotors because we sell directly to the pilot with no dealers or distributors taking the typical $1000 – $2000 cut.
Hybrid Frame System – The SP140‘s hybrid frame allows for easy swaps from your ICE motor to Electric, or vice versa, depending on your needs. This versatility is integral to the design of the SP140 V2, which has been created with both systems in mind, allowing the use of all other parts like the harness, frame, and gooseneck bars. This feature helps save on costs and provides an easy upgrade path for the future.
Low-Cost Parts – With the SP140 V2, we have significantly reduced the cost of replacement parts. Unlike other paramotors where a mishap can be expensive, we have made our high-quality parts as cost-effective as possible. The frame‘s high modularity means that damaged parts can be easily replaced, further cutting repair costs.
